Greetings.  I’d apologize for the lack of activity here, but I’ve been busy, and I doubt any of you are freaking out waiting for my updates…but the good news (for me) and bad news (for you) is that I’ll be doing a lot more of this in the coming months.  

Why?  Because my new solo album, A Cosmic Joke, is finished and set for release at the end of the summer.  I’m currently working on a live show with a new band and I feel like I’m starting to get my mojo back for this whole performance thing.  We’re hoping to bring a different kind of show to the stage for these songs, which are unlike anything The Slack or Olospo ever did, that’s for sure.   I can’t wait to give it a shot and see if we can make a splash.

On another note, I was quite surprised to see that I was nominated again at the DOMA awards.  I’m very flattered that the nominating committee felt that I did enough last year to justify that.  I think it’s rather silly that so many dozens of more-deserving musicians got overlooked, but in the end, I’ll shut up and say “thank you” again.  I’m very grateful.

I’ll leave you now with the title track from the new album…this is the unmastered version…for those of you who don’t know what that means, it basically means it’s quieter than it will be on the cd.   I’m still waiting to get the mastered version back, so this will have to do for now.  Enjoy.
