Song Of The Day: “Follow On”
Here’s another one from The Deep End. It’s not exactly new, as I’ve had it laying around for awhile, but like many of the tunes on this album, it came to life in the studio. Eric played a wonderful bass melody near the top of the song, and Sluthy’s horns are a fantastically uplifting way to take us out. My guitar parts, on the other hand, are skronky and abrasive. That’s the greatness of WBOAT’s Chad Siewert counting us in. And about ten stacked pianos. Much better than the original intro. Which was nothing.
All the signs that point to yes/lead to more but answer even less…
